Sanhe New Material is a nationally recognized high-tech enterprise and a "Specialized, Refined, and Innovative" company headquartered in Yanshi Industrial Zone, Luoyang, Henan Province — a major transportation hub in central China. The company integrates R&D, manufacturing, and global sales, with production bases spanning both Henan and Jiangsu provinces.
Sanhe's flagship product — the low-dimensional nano microporous insulation board — was jointly developed with Zhengzhou University under China's national 863 Program, and has received an internationally leading evaluation from China's National Science and Technology Achievement Appraisal Committee. Backed by 20 large-scale automated production lines, Sanhe commands over 50% market share in the cement industry's insulation segment, making it the largest of its kind in China.
The company operates highly automated production lines covering nano insulation materials, vermiculite insulation boards, and battery cell insulation gaskets, and holds a robust intellectual property portfolio of 71 patents, including invention and manufacturing process patents. Its solutions have been successfully deployed across hundreds of engineering projects in industries such as cement, electrolytic aluminum, new energy EVs, energy storage (ESS), and other high-temperature industrial sectors.

EV & Storage Insulation Developed
Successfully developed thermal insulation gaskets for automotive battery cells and nano insulation boards for energy storage systems,and completed the construction of a production line with a daily capacity of 4,500㎡.
2021
Internationally Advanced Certified
The development and industrial application of low-dimensional nano-silica thermal insulation boards passed the national scientific and technological achievement verification, earning a “Internationally Advanced, Partially Leading” evaluation in the official review report.

Group Standard Led
Led the development of the group standard T/ACRI0028-2021 for the refractory materials industry association of China, titled “Low-Dimensional Nano Silica Thermal Insulation Board”. This standard filled a gap in the domestic technology standards for low-dimensional silica insulation boards in the refractory materials sector.

The Nantong production base began its operations.
Sep 2019
Sanhe Research Fund Established
Invested 1.5 million RMB to establish the “Zhengzhou University Sanhe Research Fund”, with a focus on the research of advanced thermal insulation materials. The products were successfully introduced into industries such as electrolytic aluminum, steel, carbon, thermal power, and coking, and over 20 new cement production lines were constructed using these innovations.

China’s 1st Nano Line
The new production line at Guangxi Hengqing Building Materials Co., Ltd. was ignited and put into operation. This was China’s first nano-insulation production line, marking the beginning of a new era for energy-efficient insulation in the domestic cement industry.

Commercialization Launched
Participated in the China Cement Energy-Saving and Environmental Protection Technology Exchange Conference held in Luoyang, officially launching the commercialization of the products.

Carried out industrialization practices and successfully completed the installation and operational testing of 15 small-scale projects.

863 & International Cooperation
Collaborated with Professor Ye Guotian from Zhengzhou University on research projects. Professor Ye led national high-tech research programs (863 Program) including the project on “Low-Dimensional Thermal Insulation Refractory Materials” (2009AA032503; May 2009 - December 2011) and the Ministry of Science and Technology’s International Science and Technology Cooperation project “Joint Development of Low-Dimensional Ultra-Microporous Thermal Insulation Refractory Materials” (2010DFB50350; May 2010 - April 2012).
