Energy Saving, Capacity Increase, Low Investment – Huaxin Cement Case

Amid increasing demands for energy efficiency and productivity in the cement industry, Huaxin Cement successfully achieved both energy savings and capacity improvement through insulation system optimization—without major changes to its existing process.
In this upgrade, Huaxin adopted **Sanhe nano insulation panels** in key areas including the precalciner, C5 cyclone, and tertiary air duct. The traditional structure of calcium silicate boards combined with refractory materials was replaced with nano insulation panels, significantly reducing insulation thickness while maintaining superior thermal performance.
This optimization resulted in increased effective system volume:
* Precalciner: +24.3 m³
* C5 cyclone: +6.2 m³
* Tertiary air duct: +10.4 m³
Operational results after the upgrade:
* Shell temperatures reduced by approximately 20–30°C
* Significant reduction in heat loss and coal consumption
* Lower system resistance, enabling further capacity improvement
In addition, the total consumption of insulation materials was reduced by more than 50%, delivering both performance enhancement and cost savings.
